These companies will offer basic property management services as well as non-related services such as sourcing and vetting of tenants or house sales. However, BMUK is focussed solely on property management. This approach allows us to focus on what we’re good at without the distraction of another business model or potentially a conflict of interest in any property we manage. We would rather concentrate on this area and get it right rather than dilute our focus. For the same reasons, we specialise in managing residential blocks and estates and not other categories of property such as retirement communities, student accommodation or housing association properties. We feel each category of property management is best left to the experts in that field. What makes a good property management company? On paper, property management seems very clearly defined. However, in practice, there are many different approaches to the job. Our experience has shown us that the best service to our clients is to deal with issues early before they become problems, have robust systems for delivering paperwork on time and be contactable and responsive to client enquiries.
