Our experienced Senior Management understand that the appointment of a property management company is one of the most important decisions you can make.

Our team have been successfully supplying property management services since 2003 to institutional and corporate landlords, RMCs, RTMs, Residents’ Associations and individual leaseholders.

In that time the team have built Block Management UK Ltd on the foundations of clear communications (verbally and in writing), consistent and high standards of professionalism and continually developing best practices.

The result is a management approach that is proactive and understanding, can move quickly to resolve issues and allows our clients to feel that everything is taken care of.

Our Management Team are property professionals who are passionate, enthusiastic and bring an integrity to every aspect of our property management service.

David Collinson AIRPM CIHM


In 2003, David created the concept of a modern, technology-driven property management system with a traditional, on-site service.

He launched Block Management UK Ltd in 2004 from a small office on Great Cumberland Place in central London and his concept allowed the company to break into – and become successful in - a tough niche market. With David’s strong passion for growth, has developed the branding and company into what we are all a part of today.

David says;

Remaining a private company has allowed us to invest in longer-term improvements in our service which benefits current and future clients.”

Paul Mather

Finance Director

Through pure dedication and commitment Paul was has worked his way up through the company since joining as an Administration Assistant in 2008.

In his role as Finance Director, Paul oversees the day-to-day running of the client accounts department with predominant focus on providing advice to many of our regular clients.

In addition, in August 2013 Paul was appointed to the role of Finance Director, being actively involved with the Company’s business development activities and staffing.

Simon Matthews MIRPM AssocRICS

Operations Director

Simon came to Block Management UK with extensive business experience in facilities management, insurance (including property and auto insurance) and retail account management. He combines a strong focus on the logistics of property management with an emphasis on customer-facing service

He has an exemplary track record in achieving results in all areas from project management to customer satisfaction and as Operations Director has implemented a new approach with many new practices and procedures to complement those already tried and tested throughout his career.

Craig Phillips BSc(Hons)

I.T Manager

Craig BSC Hons Studyed Computer Aided Product Design at Wolverhampton University and has worked for Block Management UK Ltd for over ten years. His core roles are within database engineering, cloud IT infrastructure, cyber security and IT training.
This includes the presentation and use of data to support our property teams as well as the design and implementation of our client-facing online portal. Craig also has responsibilities for all in-house management systems including company reporting and voice and video communications systems.

Previously Craig has worked for companies involved in corporate relocation and global executive protection as well as design-based consulting for Serco, the public services company.

Nigel Lambert

Accounts Manager

Nigel joined Block Management UK to oversee the creation of Block Management UK's in-house credit control department. The role has now developed to include accounts payable and receivable, buildings insurance, direct debit set up and solicitors enquiries
Before joining Block Management UK, Nigel worked for a contact centre services provider, managing thousands of customer interactions a week. Holding qualifications in BT's Meridian and Symposium systems, he has extensive experience in customer relations, call centre management and training development for large scale multi-channel contact centres. This experience has made the accounts team a customer-facing part of the company.

Tom Mortimer

Compliance and Planning Manager

Due to Tom’s many year’s experience as an Assistant Property Manager we were pleased to promote him to the role of Compliance and Planning Manager.

His role includes assisting with, managing and enhancing the services we already provide, some of which include the planning of cyclical lease required works, insurance renewals, insurance valuations, the ever-growing legislative safety works/requirements and increase in major works demand.
