The advantage of being a mid-size property management company is that we combine the customer service focus of a small company with features and benefits more expected of a large management firm.

Some customers have concerns about large property management companies with respect to them offering a faceless service, with no dedicated property manager or that it's difficult to get through to someone in authority.

We completely understand. Starting out as a small management service in 2003, Block Management UK Ltd utilised a smaller staff and less resources and focussed on customer relationships - rather than features - to grow our business. And, at that size, we were unusual being a sole property management company rather than a lettings agency that offered property management.

Whilst we have grown to being a national company, our growth has been organic, allowing us to add featured services without losing sight of customer service. Features such as advanced reporting software, more staff with more experience, in-house accounting, emergency cover procedures, industry-recognised management software, staff KPI targets to continuously improve services, a complaints procedure and accreditation with ARMA and IRPM.

Block Management UK Ltd has a mission to combine a modern, technology-driven property management system with a traditional, on-site presence.

To be organised, proactive and effective, focussing on clear communications with all major stakeholders in the properties we are entrusted with. We aim to assess, advise and supervise across the widest range of responsibilities possible in our block management and estate management duties. And we believe that leaseholders, developers, freeholders, residents and other stakeholders benefit greatly from these founding principles.
